High School Musical Movie Experiences

God blessed me and some of my family with the amazing experiences to be part of Disney’s High School Musical 2 (released on the Disney Channel and DVD) and High School Musical 3 (released in theaters, on television and DVD).

It was 2007 and I was working at a Christian television ministry. There God blessed me with the opportunities to be on camera at times for various reenactments or cover footage. God also helped me start Soul Check TV. I also had a desire to be part of family friendly films. (It’s so important what work, projects, TV and films we choose to be part of. God will hold us accountable and we are responsible for our actions. (Biblical note there, now back to the story!)

Loved the Disney Channel’s movie High School Musical 1. Heard they were making a sequel and knew this was a future-classic, family-friendly film I would love to be part of!

After praying and searching for any audition I could find on the internet, God opened the door. There it was. An audition for High School Musical. All the way in Utah, far from my home at the time in Florida.

It wouldn’t be long before I would be meeting Director Kenny Ortega and filming on the set with Zac Efron.
