In Jesus You Can be Saved and Have Peace

In Jesus You Can Be Saved and Have Peace

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. When the world changes, and circumstances are beyond control, Jesus is there for you.

Schools may close, jobs may change, the world may seem different than it’s ever seemed before. But in Jesus we can have peace and comfort.

Jesus needs to be our first priority. To seek Him first and His Word.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you,” (Bible, Matthew 6:33).

This time on earth is a gift from God to love Him, love one another and live our lives for Him. To use the gifts and talents God has given us for Him and for His glory.

If you are not saved and want to know that you will spend eternity with God in heaven, want to get right with God, have peace with God through Jesus Christ and want your sins to be forgiven, now is the time. Ask Jesus to save you and forgive you of your sins. Believe what Jesus has done for you on the cross, that He died for your sins and rose from the dead. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Give your life and heart to God and He will save you.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life,”
(Bible, in the Book of John, Chapter 3, verse 16.)

Now is the time!

“…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved,” (Bible, Romans, 10:9).

Happy Easter! To Know You Will Be in Heaven

If you haven’t asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, ask Jesus today to save you and forgive you of your sins. Give your life to God! Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead so you can have a relationship with God, know and experience His love, joy, peace, forgiveness and salvation and spend eternity in heaven with God. Happy Easter!

Hope to see you in Heaven one day!

May God’s rich blessings be upon you!
In the love of Christ,
Sarah

Americans Must Not Allow Abortion

If enough Americans unite, the killing of babies can be outlawed.

Abortion is so wicked and evil. If enough Bible believing Christians, Catholics and people who value life will unite and stand together, they must have enough power to insist that abortion be illegal in America. They can start with their cities, their states. What can be done to outlaw abortion? Christians must not allow this in America.

If Americans allow the legalized killing of the most innocent, the most vulnerable – babies inside and outside the womb – precious and valuable gifts from God – don’t think America will stop with the killing of babies.

Where is the fear of God in the land?

Where is the valuing of human life?

We value life because God created it – because people are made in the image of God. We value life because God commands us to love one another. To care for each other. Because it is the right thing to do. Yes there is such a thing as the right thing to do. There is honor in caring for your children.

People don’t want to believe in God. People don’t want to believe that God created the earth and humankind and that we have a responsibility to Him. They want to believe there was a “big bang.” They want to believe the amazing, intelligent human being evolved from monkeys. This is what happens when people don’t believe and fear God: they allow the killing of babies.

Abortion is not driven by compassion. It’s driven by fear, selfishness and greed. The abortion industry makes so much money selling the body parts of the innocent. Their blood is crying out. There needs to be an outcry in the land.

We must not allow abortion in America. For those who would say there is nothing they can do, there is always something they can do.

We need revival and repentance in America. We need people to realize their need for a Savior and forgiveness and to lives their lives in the love of God. Let us pray fervently for revival in America and for abortion to be outlawed.

Thankful Dr. Dobson is speaking out to save the lives of babies. Please read his words carefully:

“Dear Friends,

I write you today to express my great alarm for this nation on many levels, especially related to a bill that was passed by the New York state legislature on January 22nd, the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. The new law is called the “Reproductive Health Act,” although it has nothing to do with health care. It represents one of the most wicked and egregious assaults on humanity in our history. We gasp when we hear of concentration camps in Germany where 6 million Jews, Gypsies, and other “undesirables” were killed by Nazis in World War II. That chapter in history is still unthinkable. But, here in America? We claim to be one nation under God. Are we really going to commit infanticide on the youngest and most vulnerable among us? The answer is Yes! We have slaughtered more than 60 million babies to date, and the killing goes on.

In short, the New York legislature has now legalized the murder of tiny human beings from conception through nine months of a pregnancy. But now, the killing will continue even after birth. If the determination to murder a child is not successful and if he or she somehow enters the delivery room alive, an attendant or orderly can stand by idly while life ebbs away on a porcelain table. The New York law does not even require a licensed physician to oversee this dastardly procedure.

It is painful to consider the plight of a dying child, but we must.”

Who Are Your Friends?

Who we hang out with can have a big influence on our lives. Who are your friends? Not only people you hang out with in person, but who are your “media” friends? Who you follow on twitter, on facebook, who you watch on TV, who you spend time with through books – fictional and real life people. The Bible says, “He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm,” (Proverbs 13:20).

In this interview with recording artist Clay Crosse, we discuss the importance of who you hang with as friends. Who you hang out with can actually be a matter of life or death.

In the life of Jehoram king of Judah, we see:

The Importance of Who You Marry:

“He followed the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for he married a daughter of Ahab. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD,” (2 Chronicles 21:6).

In the life of Ahaziah king of Judah we see:

The Importance of Who You Let Influence You and Whose Counsel You Take

“Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem one year. His mother’s name was Athaliah, a granddaughter of Omri. He too followed the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother encouraged him to act wickedly. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, as the house of Ahab had done, for after his father’s death they became his advisers, to his undoing. He also followed their counsel when he went with Joram son of Ahab king of Israel to wage war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram; so he returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds they had inflicted on him at Ramoth in his battle with Hazael king of Aram. Then Ahaziahson of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to see Joram son of Ahab because he had been wounded,” (2 Chronicles 22:2-6).

Notice it says “He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, as the house of Ahab had done, for after his father’s death they became his advisers, to his undoing.” He listened to his advisors and soon after was his downfall and death. Be careful whose advice you take and who you let advise you! Notice also it says “He too followed the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother encouraged him to act wickedly.”

Don’t let rotten friends ruin your life! When speaker and author Jimmy Evans became saved, he knew he had to get away from his friends in order to continue in his faith and follow Christ.

For more on what kinds of friends to avoid and people to stay away from, please see Proverbs 1 and Proverbs 2. (The Bible actually gives us permission not to hang out with people!)

“My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them. If they say, ‘Come along with us …’ do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths,” (Proverbs 1:10,11, 15).

Where’s that 1980’s ad “Just Say No” when you need it? It’s okay to say no.

For teenage girls and young adult girls to hang out with good friends, please see my post about some “great friends.” They just might change their lives forever in a good way.
Be sure to check out Clay Crosse’s book “Dashboard Jesus.” It’s a book for men but one of my all time favorites because it’s so true, practical and helpful for anyone’s walk with Jesus.
